Originally, I saw an ad for Aromatherapy Essential oils that promised the oils would do great things. Naturally, I was skeptical. Cedarwood is supposed to help make you drowsy, stop twitches and help with coughing along with several other things. Well, it's like this. So far, my sinuses have cleared up, I did have restless leg syndrome but that has abated somewhat. I did have my share of house flies in the house. Cedarwood is supposed to help stop them from buzzing around so much. I think it HAS done that. I have had just 2 or 3 flies that I've noticed since using Cedarwood in the humidifier. It's small sample size so far but it does seem to be effective.
Here's something pet owners of older pets might like to know. I've got a 12 year old Cocker Spaniel. Within the past year, she started coughing a lot like hse had Kennel Cough or Heartworm. She was taken to the veterinarian and found to be perfectly clean of both. What she does have is a scar on her trachea. It was making her cough pretty darn hard as in a dry heave or cough at times. Since we started using the Cedarwood Aromatherapy oil, the dog has all but QUIT coughing. When we leave it off for a while, she'll start coughing again. You might suggest it's the moisture from the humidifier. We RAN the humidifier before getting the oil. It did little good. Then we start using it again and the dog is more peaceful and relaxed. She'll lay right next to it when it is running. So, if you ask me, Cedarwood Essential oils DO WORK. Please read about Cedarwood and what it helps to quell before buying it but I can guarantee most of what it promises to do, does work.
