Prep time
Total time
Serves: 4
  • ½ cup of organic coconut oil
  • ¼ cup of safflower oil
  • 1 cup + ½ cup of organic sugar refined
  • 1 tbs dried hibiscus flower grounded roughly
  • 1 tbs of dried rose petals.
  • 1 tsp of rosehip powdered extract (it will give it a nice pink color).
  • 10 drops of rose geranium essential oils.
  • 10 drops of palma rossa essential oil.
  • 10 drops of frankincense essential oil.
  1. Whip the coconut oil for a minute or two until it is creamy. It needs to be solidifies so you can whip it. If it is melted (usually around 25C), put it in the fridge for 1 hour.
  2. Add the oil and continue whipping.
  3. Add the sugar, dried hibiscus and rose petals and mix well.
  4. Finally add the essential oils.
  5. Pour in pretty jars.
  6. This will last a few months since there is no water. It is best to keep it in the fridge so the sugar does not dissolve with the oils.
  7. Always take care of using a clean spoon to scoop the scrub so you don’t contaminate it.
  8. Sit in your bathtub and scrub your body once a week while under the shower.
  9. Rinse well. Take care of not slipping as the oil can make your tub slippery.
  10. To wash your tub, use hot water and a natural cleaning agent.
